I am in the middle of perfect by Natasha Friend I thought that overall it is a pretty good book even though it does have a few dry parts where only Isabelle is talking.
When she goes to group for the first day she immediately starts to judge people in the room. Like she sees a girl who’s not the skinniest person around and she starts to judge her then she sees a bone skinny girl and says she could literally count all of her ribs and she thinks to herself most people would think that was disgusting but she thought that that was completely normal.
But anyway when she starts going to group she sees to her surprise that a girl from her school is in group with her, that really surprised her because this girl Ashley Barnum is all around perfect in every single way. In her mind she thinks about the way everything is perfect for Ashley because she’s wealthy, popular, pretty and she’s skinny. So after group is ended she and Ashley decided to stand together and talk, when Ashley’s ride gets their she quickly turns as and says to Belle that she doesn’t have a problem or and seating disorder that her mom thought she found some extreme lax. in her daughter’s stuff so she sent her to go to group to get her problems worked out. Ashley then said she sees her at school, and she left.

Perfect
I started a new book called Perfect , it is written by Natasha Friend. I really like this book from the first page because it was just something I would with a great plot.
In the beginning the main character Isabelle is talking about how her and her sister used to get along great, but then she changes and says that her sister became an annoying kid who tells on her sister all the time. After that part of the book Isabelle is making herself have throw up in the bathroom. But then her sister catches her and threatens to tell their mother. So then Belle tells her sister who she calls ape face to n to tell their mother that she was throwing up because she has the flu and that she didn’t want her mother to be worried.
But her sister knew that she was lying so she made Belle took her little sister sat her on her bed and began to try to persuade her with clothing items of her that she knew her sister would love Finally she seems to get her little to bend toward when she offers her a pair of her red suede shoes that she saved up for the 3 months to buy. So her sister tries them on she does some dance steps in them but she says there too scuffed up and she wouldn’t accept them. But then her sister says that she won’t tell if she can have her sister’s mountain bike. So of course Belle says no ,so Ape face says out loud that Belle was making herself throw up.

The Land
I have started a book in my language arts class, it is called The Land written by Mildred D.Taylor. This is a well-written book about the days and years after slavery for a boy named Paul Edward Logan.
The book is a about a mixed boy who’s father used to be a slave owner. While he was a slave owner he had two children with one of his slaves named Deborah (their names are Cassie and Paul Edward) and he took good care of Cassie and Paul Edward he saw to it that they learned how to read, write, and do math. But this was not the usual action of a slave owner with mixed children, so he didn’t treat them as he did his white children from is white wife. He had to make sure that he didn’t let he Cassie And Paul sit at his chair when they were to be company coming over.
But when this happened Paul (who is the main character in the story) didn’t mine being sent away from the table because his white brother named Robert would always go with him since they were the same age they grew up to be very close to one another.
In the beginning of the story Paul is having trouble with one of his fathers black workers because they didn’t like that he was mixed but he still got treated like a white person. So they took it upon themselves so beat up Paul whenever they got the chance. But one day after Paul’s brother gave him the advise to go and solve his solution by himself he met with Mitchell who was one of the worst people who disliked him he said that if Mitchell would teach him how to fight that he would teach Mitchell how to read and write and do all of those things. So Mitchell agreed and they began to learn from each other, Mitchell and Paul began to grow closer as sort of brothers.
I like this book alot because it is not what you would think it is about since it is an story from back in those days.

Minerca Clark gets a Clue
Minerva is surprised because her cousin is driving a brand new car. When Minerva gets into the car her cousin Jordan is in the car talking to someone and she sounds agitated, so then she yells into the phone hangs up the phone and starts to try to strike a conversation with Minerva out of pity Minerva thought. Minerva asks how she got the new car (because Minerva knew that since Jordan's mother is divorced and a working mom that she wouldn't pay for it) and Jordon says: I paid for it with the money from babysitting. And then Jordon acts Minerva if she can go to this one place real quick and then go to drop Minerva off at her house. Minerva (agrees even though she knows that she should be getting home quick so she doesn't get in trouble by her brother.) says yes and then Jordan heads toward the library/book store.
When they are about to walk in the store they see a homeless men who has a dog. Minerva goes to pet the dog and the homeless man reaches out and thinking that he was trying to touch her Minerva moves but all the old man wanted to was pet his dog on its head, when Minerva sees him move his arm she sees that he has a bum hand. Her cousin then pulls her away from the old man and scolds her for going up to him at all.
When they get there they meet a guy named Dwight he looks obviously looks happy at the sight of Jordan. Minerva thinks to herself no one’s ever not happy to see Jordan. When Jordan and Minerva walk up to Dwight gives a hint that he would like Minerva to live him and Jordan alone for a minute to let them talk. So Minerva goes then all of sudden she see a girl walk up an she immediately thinks that she is a cling on by the way she talks to Jordan she can tell that Jordan is not friends with her at all. Jordan then introduces her to the girl whose name is Pansy.
When Minerva goes to the kids section of the store she gets bored and decides it should be time to live. So she searches around the store and then she sees something shiny near the check out desks where Dwight and Jordan are talking. She then quickly pulls her ferret out of her pocket and let's it run toward the shiny thing (which happened to be a sparkly glasses case) when the ferret got there it started to chew on the case which Minerva hadn't expected she quickly runs toward the ferret who Dwight is now holding (they strike a conversation and Minerva decides that she thought Dwight was very nice).Before they leave Jordan one of the glasses case.
When they were driving home Jordan broke one of the driving laws because she made a right turn without stopping to let other possible cars go through. So then a few minutes after that the police are behind them and there lights were in. Now Jordan Expects just to get a ticket but when the cops asked her if she knew why she was being pulled over he said that one of her taillights was broken. (But when Minerva thought her taillight were fixed at the book store so they took Jordan’s license, and they came back and read her Miranda right and said she was under arrest.

Minerva Clark Gets a Clue
I started a new book this week called Minerva Clark Gets a Clue it's by Karen Karbo. I liked this book a lot it is very cool and up to date book. All the things in the book could actually really happen to someone except for some Minor part in this book. This would be a great book for someone who likes a little laugh every now and then.
So this book is about a girl named Minerva she a girl who pretty much keeps to herself. Doesn't stick up for herself, and hates the way that she looks also she has a really big problem about saying no to people. So one day her brothers asked her to go to tilt which is an arcade type place. Again she says yes but she really doesn't want to go. So when they get there Minerva sees her friend and her brother's friend Toc who shows them a trick to get free coins out of the coin machine. So after they see him use his trick they go to play DDR(DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION).Which again she doesn't want to but she couldn't say no to her(secret best friend)Reggie, so she goes to play, but while she playing she realizes that in her attempt to tame her hair she forgot to put on deodorant. To make matters worse she then sees three girls walk into tilt. Then she realizes who they are they were some of the popular girls in school walk in. And they even went up to watch her play DDR, but then she got all flustered and tried to get off the game, but in her attempt she fell on top of nasty gross floor. And those girls just sat there and laughed at her. So she gets up and she runs out of Tilt and starts to walk home, knowing that when her brother found out she'd be in deep trouble but at the time she was to mad to even care. So as she is walking she decides to hold her pet ferret that she took every where she went. Just then her perfect cousin came up in a brand new car and asked her if she needed a ride.

Gilda Joyce Psychic Investagator (a mystery)Continued
While she is doing her psychic investigator work she noticed that an old women that she stalks(whose husband died of grief after their wig store burned down in a fire)was a wearing a pink wig which is one of the many exotic wig that she wears on a daily basis.
After seeing the women in her pink wig, Gilda decided that she was going to write a novel about the women’s pink wig trying to kill the old women. So that it would get the money that she got from the store being burned down and her husband’s death. (It was supposed to be a “horror”).
After that she decides to write herself a report card on how her psychic investigation works was coming along, And it wasn't very good all her investigation were no good she had failed all her jobs, and her horror story sounded more like a joke to her.
But then she got a letter from her 1st cousin that says that she was allowed to come over to stay in San Francisco!

Gilda Joyce Psychic Investagator(a mystery)

And she has been a little bit psychic ever since her dad died from cancer when she was in the 6th grade. Well on the last day of school her class was talking about what they where going to do over the summer, well Gilda wasn't listening so when the teacher called on her she said that she was going to San Francisco, that while she was there she was going to work on her novel. Her teacher new that it must be lie that she was going to her 1st cousin for the summer, but actually Gilda was a very good writer and that she had a very big vocabulary to use to go with her excellent writing skills that she inherited from her dad. (But she really wasn't lying though). So after her lie her friend confronts her about her lie she says that her psychic senses must of made her do it.
When she got home she decided that she was going to write a letter to her 1st cousin with the typewriter that her father gave her before or after he died, so she decided to invite herself over.
After that she went to work as her other psychic investigation.
